Hi there. I am Sankar Prasad Lahiri, a Prime Minister Research Fellow at the Center for Atmospheric Sciences, IIT Delhi. I have joined here in 2020, after completing my M.Tech from NIT Rourkela where I have developed a full-fledged ambition to pursue higher research studies. I have a keen interest in the problems associated with the ocean and climate. During my masters, I have looked into the relationship between Indian Summer Monsoon and upwelling in the western Arabian Sea. Currently, I am looking into various features of the North Indian Ocean including its circulation and its influence on the monsoon.
